KPRC2 Houston: Live News Segment

I had my first experience on a live news segment, and I'm so grateful to KPRC2 Houston (NBC Studios) and Sofia Ojeda for the opportunity. Laura Grier and I were invited to share the story of Andeana Hats and our mission—just in time for rodeo season in Houston, Texas! Check out the video below along with some behind-the-scenes moments.

Andeana Hats is a heartfelt venture that connects the rich traditions of the Andean highlands with the modern world. Crafted by indigenous Quechua artisans, each hat represents a blend of ancient weaving techniques and cultural heritage passed down through generations. Andeana's mission is to empower these skilled women, preserving their ancestral craftsmanship while fostering sustainable, fair-trade practices. Beyond fashion, these hats carry the spirit of Ayni, the Andean philosophy of reciprocity, symbolizing the deep connection between humans and nature, and supporting a more conscious, ethical world.
